Right in the heart of Meltham Mills, where the looms once shaped generations, a new space has is opening. The Millhouse Bistro is built for honest food, local ingredients and a place to gather, whether it’s brunch with friends or dinner with family.
By day, it’s light, airy and fresh, a bright spot to enjoy coffee, lunch or a long weekend brunch. As the sun sets, the lights dim, candles are lit and the space transforms into a cosy escape, where food, wine and conversation flow naturally.
Our building is new, but the spirit of the mills is everywhere, in the care we put into our food, the flavours we celebrate and the space we’ve created to welcome the community.
The Millhouse Bistro is simple, seasonal, full of flavour and alive from day to night, a modern take on the heart of Meltham Mills.

Our menu evolves with the day. Mornings and brunch are relaxed and generous, built around quality ingredients and simple favourites done well.
As day turns to evening, the menu shifts into British bistro cooking, seasonal, comforting and full of flavour.
Familiar dishes, thoughtful touches and plates made to be enjoyed together, from the first coffee of the day to candlelit dinners at night.
